Hi there, my name is Selene Padilla and I'm the creator of Lettering Our World.
A very warm welcome to my website where I will share my creative journey into the art of lettering. Here my aim is to inspire, teach and help you through your create process in order for you to bring your ideas and visions into life.
I was born and raised in León, Mexico, a city four hours north of Mexico city. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and a wife of a very supportive Scottish/Mexican guy I met while on holiday in Acapulco.
I studied and work as an interior designer, I also have a passion in arts & crafts and love doing various D.I.Y projects which I also implement into my interior designs.
When I was a child I loved drawing letters but at that point I didn't know it was a thing. It was later in life during a certain interior design project where I found my drive to do lettering again and from that point on a became obsessed with everything that entails in modern calligraphy.
